Hello, I understand your concerns about the cooling for the FX-8350. For a budget of up to 200$, what suggestions do you have?

The intended purpose of the system is for gaming. If it's a gaming rig, consider an i3 6100 or i5 6500. The cost difference is generally small, and many people overlook that those Intel processors don't require a costly motherboard. Additionally, the Corsair VS series is considered the worst they produce, so it's best to avoid it. A system with an i3 or i5 and a GTX 1060 or RX480 will work well with a decent 450w power supply.

What case and specifications should I choose?
I’m still figuring out which case to buy, but I’d also like some recommendations.

Did you purchase those components or are you merely considering them?

What kind of case are you considering? Some systems need a top-down cooler with a 125w CPU to avoid overheating the VRMs. I’m not sure which case to choose yet, but I’d also like recommendations.

MOBO: MSI 990FXA GAMING
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB 1866MHz
SSD: Samsung 250GB 850 EVO
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1tb
PSU: Corsair VS Series VS650
If you’re starting fresh, I really suggest going with Intel or holding off for a month before AMD Zen!

Don't spend too much on an FX build, consider Intel or hold off for a while if you're thinking about Ryzen.

If you’re building from scratch, I’d suggest going with Intel or holding off on AMD for a month to save up.
Intel CPUs tend to be pricey (especially in Finland), so I’m leaning toward AMD for my budget. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
