you're experiencing performance drops with dx12 in rise of the tombraider, similar to bf1 when switching to dx11. despite achieving high FPS on your 1080 Ti GPU, the game feels sluggish. others seem to be getting smoother results with dx12, so you might want to check your settings or consider alternative configurations.

I faced the same problems in every match, so I reached out to Nvidia live chat support. They clarified the steps to fix it, but I lost track of what they advised. Now I regret not following their guidance before sharing this on the forum. I hope it gets resolved quickly.

I also faced problems with both DX11 and DX12, which led them to suggest adjusting certain options in the control panel.

Avoid the options with dx12 in games that don’t support it. It’s poor quality, while dx11 delivers better outcomes consistently.

Beyond the rise of the poob raider 110 average fps in dx11 160, results around 8700k suggest a GPU bottleneck on either API, making the test unfair.
