The temperatures of all Ryzen 5900X cores remain consistent regardless of workload changes. This behavior is typical, as the CPU usually stays around 65-70°C during games. Even with a low-quality cooler and limited temperature monitoring, the readings stay uniform. It's normal for Intel CPUs to maintain similar temps under different conditions.

The Ryzen CPU displays only the overall temperature of the chip, not the specific temperatures of each core.

HWInfo provides performance updates. I mainly track the average temperature over days. For temperatures, with a 240 AIO setup, it's within normal range. The Ryzen 5000 heats up more than anticipated but remains safe and within expectations. Adjusting PBO Curve Optimizer can significantly raise temps and enhance performance, though it involves a learning curve and isn't always required. I do it just for the challenge.

the cpu operates at reduced voltage during full core demand because of power limits, which lowers performance and heat. during gaming, it can increase to 1.4v, boosting clock speeds and frame rates but generating more heat.

These are single-core boost timers. With tools like HWInfo, you can view the peak speeds each core reaches. Consider checking HWInfo for your analysis before drawing further conclusions.

I'm testing stock clocks on my system and using Linpack Xtreme. The Thai CPU handles heat well without PBO. It's about 70 GFlops slower than usual. Temperatures stay under 60, and fans spin around 1600rpm. Still has room to go!

I was testing the newest BIOS for my board. It’s actually worse than the beta before it... at least for me. I remember my old BIOS that made the CPU run at full voltage and boost. That 5800X3D lost all its excitement with these latest AGESA updates. Not great, huh?
