specs include msi z790 carbon wifi, i9 13900k, asus rog 3080, gskill trident z5 32g, 1000w evga psu, and corsair 150i elite cappelix xt windows 11. bios version is 7d89v15. i faced several problems with windows 11, so i performed a clean install after wiping the c drive and reinstalling everything. my usual apps like chrome, razer synapse, i cue, discord, steam, blizzard, and elgato wave link were working fine post-update. however, i encountered strange admin rights issues on steam library folders in my ssd after the fresh install. initially, it was resolved easily, but now the msi center indicates i’m not a local admin. occasionally, my screen freezes completely after freezing, then restarts itself unpredictably. there are random shutdowns of apps like chrome and discord during interactions or while watching youtube. i’m unsure whether to try another clean install or seek further assistance. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to help with this frustrating situation.

Upgrade to the latest driver for your GPU. https://rog.asus.com/graphics-cards/grap..._download/ Perform a Clean Boot. If successful, you may maintain this setup or gradually add Startup Items or Services until the issue resolves, helping identify the cause.

Start with Normal Boot, then set up the nVidia driver, followed by activating Clean Boot.

Driver setup functions properly but remains inactive when launching in a clean session.
