I recently installed MC Java and for some reason it’s not utilizing my GPU; it continues to operate using my CPU, and I'm experiencing approximately 5 frames per second. I’ve attempted all available options within the Nvidia control panel. I’ve also tried right-clicking and selecting execution with nvidia graphics, but nothing has resolved the issue. In task manager, my GPU registers at only 1% utilization while my CPU operates at 90%+ capacity. I've exhausted various troubleshooting methods including implementing optifine. My system specifications include a Core i5-5200u processor clocked at 2.2Ghz, an Nvidia 940m with 2GB of memory, and 8GB of RAM.

Please configure NVIDIA settings by accessing the NVIDIA Control Panel via right-click desktop selection. Navigate to Manage 3D Settings within the control panel. To designate NVIDIA GPU for all games, choose the High-performance NVIDIA processor from the Preferred graphics processor drop-down menu on the Global Settings tab. Alternatively, for specific applications like Minecraft, utilize the Program Settings tab. Add a program by clicking the Add button and browsing to the Minecraft folder’s bin subfolder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\bin\javaw.exe). Select Javaw.exe and then choose the High-performance NVIDIA processor option from the Select the preferred graphics card for this program drop-down menu. Apply the changes, and optionally, select the High-performance NVIDIA processor context menu option by right-clicking Minecraft’s icon.

I attempted the task, but the problem persists. This screenshot displays the F3 interface which is beneficial.
