It's usually not that hard... but even at stock speeds you have a very fast processor, so quitting isn't such a bad choice.
Yeah, I'm giving up.
I tried to update the BIOS but then the computer wouldn't turn back on afterward.
I had to skip the CMOS battery for about an hour to get it working again.
Fortunately, the BIOS flash went through or else I would have had a paperweight around.
