I followed an online tutorial to improve my PC performance, sticking strictly to the suggested tools. I made a restore point, reverted changes, and performed all necessary fixes, but the problem persisted. The crash occurs when launching any game, gradually slowing everything down. Have you executed "SFC /ScanNow" via elevated CMD? Did you run DDU to clear old drivers and install the newest version? Remember, DDU should be your initial step.

SFC /ScanNow I attempted 'yes' via admin CMD but didn't see DDU. I'll test it now and follow up later.

I ran the scan and the DDU, but it just stopped in the middle of the game while everything stayed running.
