Hello,
I played Dead Space last night and noticed the CPU temperature reached about 100 degrees. Right away I stopped playing and decided to change the thermal paste in the morning. I applied the paste, cleaned the heat sink, and then placed it back on the CPU. After checking all cables and trying to turn on the computer, it still wouldn’t power up. I heard a hissing noise from the PSU and smelled something burning, but I couldn’t identify what caused it. I tried using an old PSU, and the computer booted up successfully. However, the same issue occurred after a few minutes. I double-checked everything—paste, CPU position, cables—and found nothing amiss. I also noticed a small scratch on the mainboard, but no signs of burning. Eventually, I took it to a repair shop, where they tested it with a cheap PSU and observed the CPU fan spinning erratically. That was all.

it could be anything you did.
it might simply be better if the shop was repaired.

The mainboard includes a three-year warranty, so I plan to return it and see what happens. The PSU has been repaired successfully.
