Hello everyone, my PC has just been freshly formatted before. It works perfectly with apps and games now. After a few reformats it sometimes restarts on its own or experiences crashes during Discord or games. Performance is strong, but I still face these issues. I’ve reformatted again, updated everything, and the overheating problem remains. Room temperature stays low despite the cold room. All installed software is genuine. I’ve tried standard programs like Chrome, WinRAR, Logitech G Hub, and a game, but they crash randomly when I’m not playing. Even with random restarts while idle, it keeps restarting. Windows updates are current. I’ve disabled or removed restart settings in Windows Update. Please assist—I’ve already contacted two IT technicians without success. Thank you!

Specs: Windows 11 Pro, i7-13900K, MSI 3070, ROG Z790 Hero, 32GB RAM, 16x2 6000MHz, ROG Thor P2 850W, ROG Hyperion case, Samsung 980 Pro, 1TB SSD, plus 500GB storage.

Set up Samsung Magician, then verify if updates are required.

I turn off all sleep and hibernation options since they often cause issues. Perhaps this is why your system behaves this way? Try disabling Fastboot and the sleep timer to check if the problem persists. Alternatively, I regularly shut down my computer after use for power conservation. Modern hardware is so responsive that Fastboot effects are barely noticeable. Have a great day!

This setup looks like an older era where the 980s were still distributed with the suicide firmware

Thanks everyone! I’ll definitely follow all your tips this morning. I’ve been working nonstop for almost a week and am confused about what’s going wrong. I’ll start again tomorrow morning! Appreciate the help!

Hello everyone, the scan shows everything is current with a temperature drop of 45°C on both sides and both SSDs are functioning well. The operating system is set to 970 EVO Plus. The 980 Pro is running in balance mode, and no data has been accessed from that drive yet. Currently, I’m using 100GB less space on my 970 drive. Any additional tests you’d like me to perform? I’ve been checking YouTube and it still appears active.

Follow these instructions for House Keeping steps 4 to 13:
- Resolve underperforming GPU issues by addressing microstuttering.
- If problems persist, share your crash dumps via the provided link.
- When uploading dump files, adjust your original post so it’s easily visible without needing to scroll through the thread.
