It checks if you prefer Windows 8 or 10, but only has Windows 10 installed. I used to run Windows 8 briefly and deleted everything. Do you know how to get rid of it? Also, can anyone help with removing the desktop, documents, and other items from 'This PC'?

It seems you're using a bootloader that enables running several operating systems. The only solution is to completely erase the hard drive using a specific partition method.

Performed an upgrade installation; it doesn't always remove the boot file. Simply modify the boot file.

I didn’t perform an upgrade install; I added Windows 8 onto a different hard drive just to test it out.
