I've just assembled my new setup, and everything functions perfectly. I'm able to run Blender, stream on Twitch, and play games like EA FC 24 and Valorant without issues. The Finals and Overwatch 2 started fine, but right before launching, my PC would suddenly increase fan speeds to maximum and then power down completely. Once the games finished, the AntiCheat system would activate and cause the machine to shut off entirely. For Overwatch, I noticed the Blizzard logo faded and then the shutdown happened as well. I've tried several fixes—reinstalling drivers, checking game files, using a different PSU, adjusting fan speeds—but nothing resolved the problem. What else should I check?
You looked into the Windows Event Viewer for any alerts. The cooling system for the 5800X uses a model-specific case design. It seems you have an uninterruptible power supply available. Let me know if there’s anything more you’d like to check.

I reviewed my event log but it only shows Kernel Power events, which occur when the system stops unexpectedly. There’s no explanation provided about the cause. My computer uses an air cooler called Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. I don’t have a UPS and there are no breaker issues reported.

Everything looks fine at first. Do you have MSI Afterburner? Try reducing the power limit of your 4060 to the lowest setting the slider offers. Does the computer still restart? If it helps, it might mean the power supply isn’t providing enough power during GPU spikes. Good luck!
