Hello everyone, after purchasing my computer everything worked perfectly. Recently though, I began experiencing problems with my whole PC, such as stuttering or lagging for a few minutes after launching certain games. This includes issues like mouse delay, audio cracking and freezes. In the Task Manager nothing seems amiss. The affected games are: Apex Legends, Dead by Daylight, Hunt: Showdown, Brawlhalla, Rainbow Six Siege, and Valorant. Initially I considered EAC (EasyAntiCheat) as a possible cause, but it was happening across multiple titles. Checking forums didn’t reveal any similar issues. I suspect my hardware might be the issue before there were problems, or perhaps something like faulty drivers is involved. If anyone has advice or can help, I would really appreciate it.

Computer specifications: RTX4090OC (Gigabyte), Ryzen 9 7950x, 64GB DDR5, Corsair Dominator ASUS Crosshair 670HE, 1200W Corsair PSU, 4TB Seagate FireCuda SSD. I also added two screenshots of GPU and CPU.

Where were they placed? It might be because the hard drive isn't quick enough and the whole setup needs to match the drive's speed. Also, inspect the SATA cables—based on what I've seen, they should be repositioned after a while to reach maximum performance.

They are available in the Steam library. I’ve also verified all the cables, and everything looks good.

I own the same details as you—7950 x and 4090 rog strix OC. I’ve only acquired it while playing Apex Legends so far. My computer freezes unexpectedly for about a minute or two, and I’m hearing that faint sparkling noise from my headset. It’s been really frustrating; even after reinstalling Windows, the issues persist. It’s super annoying because it’s such a great game.

I've also faced this problem on my 7950X, Asus X670E Crosshair, and Asus RTX3090. I reached out to the Dead by Daylight developers, but they attributed it to my system without any real check or guidance. Recently, I tried playing The Finals and noticed it happened there, suggesting EAC might be the cause.

Despite several driver updates, the issue persists, suggesting an EAC problem. We should continue updating drivers and windows, and consider reinstalling EAC.
