so for context I 'm trying to launch Apex Legends , I updated it only for my pc to keep shutting down regardless on even if I launch and get in the menu or not I can 't simply play it (without capping the frame rate) . PBO and ReBar is enabled already yet still occurs , other than that : I tried updating system and stuff like that via the optional updates on windows , nothing I tried updating GPU Drivers , nothing I tried moving the game from HDD to SSD , occurs worse , it doesn 't even launch in the first place (refer for updates below) I tried heavily underclocking and reducing the power of the gpu , it does not help so it doesn 't seem to be power related I tried some different Precision Boost Overdrive profiles , Notably enhanced mode 1 -3 The system is not overheating or anything to indicate that it is shutting down via safety Specs are as follows for diagnosis : Ryzen 5 5600 MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max Asus ROG Strix RTX 3060 Corsair RM550x 16GB (2x8GB ) DDR -3200 CL16 memory , XMP is on I also want to mention that this issue does not occur in any other game , looking at event viewer all I get is in the picture below do I need to replace a hardware , Disable ReBar first maybe ? or trying to update the bios as a last resort ? It isn 't the first time it happens and it baffles me the occurrence is getting more aggressive and that PBO did not fully solve it . I 'll try to additionally attach a video since I 'm typing it on my problematic pc for the behavior occurring but I absolutely have no idea what is happening . One update I would add is that it seems like launching the game for the first time caps at 60 fps and seems to work normally, do I give up and just lower settings of the game if I wanna play at a higher frame rate? Current troubleshooting to do (thanks to the ChilloutVR Community): Updating to latest stable BIOS of the motherboard. Other troubleshooting steps to do: - Underclock the CPU - Switch the GPU from a spare one - If none of the above works, narrow down the hardware inside the computer or connections edit 1: Would like to add that Apex Legends is running at their highest settings except spot shadow detail, Will make an edit 2 because I'm testing where the framerate cap would be that it makes my computer reboot... Edit 2: Around 132-135 in cap it reboots Edit 3: Now it repeats shutting down despite any caps Edit 4: I am begining to see that in one time it works and the other it doesn't, this keeps getting annoying Edit 5: Wanted to add that I do have a spare gpu if you want me trying it for diagnosis...
