I attempted to install the StoreMI app from AMD's site to evaluate its functionality, suspecting outdated CPU drivers. After installation, my PC began crashing repeatedly. I removed it via the Apps menu in Windows settings, but the process triggered another crash and left my computer unresponsive even in Safe Mode. Additionally, I can't log into my Microsoft account despite being able to on my laptop with the same credentials. I'm unsure what to do next and am frustrated because I downloaded the app directly from AMD without suspecting a scam, losing access to my system. My PC specs are listed here: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/PBJ8Vw win 10 (storage may vary).

It seems you may have altered the Windows system, but you could attempt repairs using Windows tools via a USB drive. With your laptop and internet access, you can generate a bootable USB for troubleshooting. If your Windows version is fortunate, it might resolve issues, though it often crashes and prompts a reinstall about 70% of the time.

Skip the trouble, you realize it's inevitable. Just proceed and do it. It's disappointing. Fresh Windows setup. Life isn't great. Good luck. For future uninstalls, try this link: https://www.revouninstaller.com/start-fr...-download/ It functions well and I've used the free version for years without issues. Edited March 4, 2023 by kb5zue
