Attempt it once more. This motherboard won't start with RAM installed in slots A2 and B2; it should use A1 and B1 instead. None of my setups have that issue.

I’m having trouble reaching the BIOS settings and don’t have a clear way to access them without using the BIOS menu.

Get another machine, follow the instructions in the BIOS Flashback manual. Load BIOS onto a USB drive using the proper name as specified. Connect it to the BIOS flashback USB port and observe the steps. Note the required button press duration from the manual before proceeding.

A1-B1 Slots versus A2-B2 remains unchanged when posting a board. If you have another machine, visit the ASUS site, download the newest bios, install it on an empty flash drive, connect it to the BIOS flashback USB port, ensure the system is off, press the BIOS flashback button on the rear I/O, wait 1-2 minutes, and then power up.

I've reviewed the manual; it doesn't clearly state to start with A1 first. I suggest beginning there. Try launching with one stick in A1, then test the other. The CPU handles RAM detection—it could be a faulty connection on the CPU and won't recognize the RAM. It might need re-seating (remove it completely this time and inspect for bent pins). Although it's unlikely the RAM isn't working at all due to incompatibility, it's still a possibility. Check the QVL.

Updated the BIOS and now provides the Q Code AC, which is labeled "Reserved for ASL." There seems to be some confusion about the ASL status.

It hasn't posted yet. It seems it's stalled on the AC code.

The system is stuck in an AC-related error and can't display content.
