Hi,
I encountered this problem recently. I was playing MH Wilds on a new rig I just purchased, and it suddenly stopped during the alt tab. The cursor moved, but everything else froze. After restarting the PC, it wouldn’t boot at all. I checked the motherboard and saw the CPU and DRAM lights were on. I removed the RAM one by one, but nothing worked. Then I replaced the RAM slots and one of them functioned again. Surprisingly, the other RAM also worked. What’s going on?

EDIT: After booting up and checking the BIOS, it was reset. Will this happen again? Is there a fault? Everything was new and bought three months ago.

Motherboard Name: MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WiFi (MS-7E12)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
Gskill 16x2 DDR5

During the troubleshooting, the parts had time to settle down. That might offer some insight into the issue.

I just verified and the BIOS has been reinitialized,
I don't believe it's overheating; the highest temperature I observed was between 65-70°C during CPU load.
