The system froze and displayed a black screen following the BIOS update.
I recently switched to an M.2 SSD and after setting up the OS, only a few of my drives were visible randomly. After several hours I attempted to flash the BIOS, but they weren't showing up either. Once I flashed it, the download completed successfully but then the screen went black. I tried various fixes like removing the CMOS battery and leaving it powered off, but nothing resolved the issue. While searching online I found someone mentioning it boots from an integrated GPU, which made me suspect a factory setting for the Ryzen to use the integrated graphics instead of PCI-E. I'm not sure if that's correct, but I'm hoping someone can offer advice. My system is an ASUS B350-PLUS with a Ryzen 5 2600 and I've included the BIOS file PRB350PS.CAP.
Check the BIOS settings for errors or conflicts. Restart your PC and see if the screen clears. If issues persist, perform a factory reset or consult manufacturer support.
Your BIOS is damaged and without the flashback option it's non-functional.
