Following the culmination of my personal computer assembly, performance remained satisfactory for approximately two weeks. However, yesterday while engaged in gameplay with Mordhau, auditory distortion and a precipitous decline in frame rates manifested, culminating in an involuntary system restart. I initially posited this as an isolated incident; nevertheless, today’s attempt to play Call of Duty: Warzone replicated the issue three times. Subsequent efforts to resolve the situation through a comprehensive system reset and driver reinstallation proved unsuccessful, as the problem persisted upon launching Warzone. I am currently at a loss regarding potential solutions and seek any suggestions for remediation. My hardware specifications are as follows: motherboard – MPG x570 gaming edge wifi; processor – AMD Ryzen 7 3700x; power supply – evga 750w gq gold; memory – g.skill tridentz RGB series 32 GB ddr 3200; graphics card – msi gaming trio 2080 super.

System temperatures are registering approximately 79 degrees Celsius for the central processing unit and roughly 70 degrees Celsius for the video adapter during system reboots.

The temperature reading indicates a significant increase anticipated during demanding operations… Applying fresh thermal adhesive and meticulously cleaning the heatsink may resolve this issue. It ought to prove effective.

A temperature of 80 degrees Fahrenheit during normal operation indicates a problem. Verify the cooler’s attachment to the central processing unit. Confirm the presence of thermal adhesive. Assess your enclosure’s cooling configuration.

I possess six fans, three directing airflow outward and three channeling air inward. My system utilizes an Obsidian 500D RGB case and incorporates the Wraith Prism cooler that was bundled with my processor. Following removal and cleaning of the existing cooler, I re-applied thermal paste. Notably, I have experienced no system restarts subsequent to a single instance of playing WarZone, which represents an improvement over typical circumstances.

It’s possible to utilize HWMonitor to observe temperature readings during periods of inactivity and when engaging in demanding gameplay sessions.

During gameplay in Space Engineers, I’ve observed sporadic increases in my central processing unit temperature, rising from a baseline of 67 degrees Celsius to peaks of 80 degrees Celsius.
