Hello, your recent setup functioned well initially but has since encountered issues. After turning it off, the system would display between your desktop and a black screen. Reconnecting the GPU’s output and using the display cable in the motherboard slot resolved the problem. Please share your specifications for reference. The components you listed include an Intel i9 12900KS, RTX 3090 Ti, and several high-performance parts.

You've likely already attempted this, but have you considered connecting the display cable to a different port on the GPU?

Here are some possible solutions:
1. Ensure drivers are up to date
2. Reinstall the drivers
3. Check if the problem continues with an HDMI cable or a different port on the GPU
4. Use a different display port cable (certain cables behave differently at higher refresh rates)
5. Remove the GPU and reinstall it
6. Refer to the NVIDIA forum thread for details: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/for...ue-and-wo/

I have a 3090 Ti and noticed it struggles with certain monitor cables, causing the screen to go black. I replaced a faulty cable with a 3080 Ti and a 3090, but the issue persists. To check if this is your case, try lowering your panel's frequency or increasing the resolution.

Thanks for the feedback. I've checked all the options you mentioned, but none resolved the problem where the PC beeps, shows the desktop, then restarts to a black screen. Could it be that a larger PSU is needed?

I encountered the same issue and my builds are almost identical to yours. Did you discover a solution to fix it?
