Here’s a revised version of your message:

I’m using these components: 5800X3D, Galax 4070 Ti OC, 32GB (16*2) 3200 MHz Kingston Fury Beast, Antec NE 850GM Gold PSU, and MSI b550m Mortal Max Wi-Fi card. The situation is as follows: My PC won’t boot when the GPU is installed, but it does when the GPU is removed. Could this mean the GPU is damaged or shorted? Also, when I try to power on the PSU, it makes a loud ticking noise for a brief moment, which made me think the PSU is failing. After replacing the PSU with a new one the same day, the issue persists. During startup, right after pressing the power button, the PSU stops working and emits a click before turning off. This suggests my GPU might be activating the PSU’s over-current protection. I’m unsure if I should only replace the GPU or both the GPU and motherboard. Since I don’t have spare parts to test, I’m seeking advice on whether to order just the GPU or both components for replacement. Thanks in advance for your help!

Got it. I'll process the return for both the GPU and the motherboard. Appreciate your support!

I’d attempt it without the 12VHPWR port. It won’t fully boot up, but it could alter the display. If it manages to clear the first alert and reveals the warning “please plug in the power connector ya dummy” shown on most cards when it fails, it’s likely the adapter itself is faulty.
