The crash started with black screens and loud fans, lasting until I pressed the power button. After that, it would randomly crash after playing certain games like Borderlands 2, Moon Base Alpha, Caesar 4, Heroes of the Storm, Children of the Nile, GTA 5, Shift 2 Unleashed, Torchlight 2, and Portal 2. I looked everywhere for a fix but couldn't find a solution. I've tried updating drivers, using less RAM, checking BIOS updates, and even used different monitors. The issue seems to depend on the resolution (800x600) and how I switch users or restart. I've attached a DX Diag report for reference.

I previously managed a smooth overclock on my 680 without any problems. However, WoW would frequently crash, affecting only that game. I restored the original settings and it functioned properly again.

Monitor your CPU temperatures during gameplay. Your friends experienced a crash while gaming due to the need to install new thermal paste on their CPU.

CPU temperatures are normal, I’ve been playing GTA 5 for eight hours without any issues. Borderlands 2 stops working after two hours, and the CPU doesn’t overheat. I haven’t adjusted any settings.

No, this appears to be a socket motherboard, not an Intel-specific one.
