When my PC (especially the CPU) faces stress from tasks like Cinebench, Prime95 or Gaming it begins to emit a solder-like odor. Without shutting it down, the system tends to crash. I've checked the motherboard—even removed the VRM heatsink and pad—but nothing appears amiss. See photos of the board here and in my Imgur album. https://imgur.com/a/WYKCRuU A bit more background: I recently upgraded to a 5800X a few weeks back. Everything functioned normally until yesterday. I've been using Curve Optimizer for underclocking. The PC still fails with default configurations. Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, up-to-date as of August 6. Over a longer time frame, roughly a few months, I encountered an issue. I intended to use 1700x as the boundary. Even with that setting, it was a bit challenging, though it would still work if pushed properly.
