I'm attempting to push my CPU overclock to at least 3.2Ghz, but it's not working. I can only reach 220 clock speed, which caps me at 2.8Ghz. Others have shared their experiences. Let me know if you can help!

Chip lottery details: Not every CPU will increase its speed the same way. Some will reach 3.6GHz, while others will only go up to 2.7GHz.

Occasionally, the motherboard parts and BIOS can restrict your overclocking possibilities too. Biostar boards usually perform poorly in this area.

It's the silicon lottery buddy. Not every chip is the same, even for the same model. Also, Biostar is roughly as bad a motherboard you can find.
