Yesterday I operated my computer normally without any problems. The network performed perfectly. Today I returned home and began working on my Windows 10 PC. Suddenly, the internet stopped functioning. My phone remained fully functional on Wi-Fi. I noticed the network icon displayed a red cross, constantly changing from the cross to the yellow attention sign. I tried troubleshooting but had no success. I found a forum where someone reported the same issue. They suggested adjusting the speed and duplex settings to 10mbps Full/Half Duplex, which resolved the problem. HOWEVER, with my 30mb fiber connection, I’m not utilizing its full capacity. Can anyone assist me in resolving this? Please revert the network speed back to 100mbps Full/Half Duplex if possible. Thanks everyone.

Common causes include:
- Driver issue with the driver
- Damaged or aging cable
Try reinstalling the NIC driver and testing a different cable.

Identified the issue. My connection was faulty. Purchased a new Cat 5e cable and it functioned properly, but using the old one caused the problem again. Likely, if you're facing the same situation, opt for a fresh cable.
