The Swiftech H320 X2 pump is not functioning properly.
Hello everyone,
I just assembled my very first computer. Everything seemed to be in order before I turned it on. After a few moments, the power button clicked. I nervously checked the monitor and saw the BIOS screen. The machine was warming up steadily—around 45 to 60 degrees, then reaching 75 degrees within about ten minutes. My waterblock and tubes felt hot to the touch, while the water reservoir stayed cold. All fans were running, except for the pump, which was completely still and silent. I tested different power connections on the pump pins, but it didn’t move. Newegg customer service suggested reaching out to Swifttech. I called several numbers without success—my voice was picked up briefly before the call ended. I also messaged their support forum, but there was no reply. Is my pump faulty? Could this be a simple fix? I’m really hoping to get it working without it getting too hot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Connecting the pump directly to the PSU requires an adapter from Molex or SATA to a 3-pin fan connector. If this method fails, the connection is likely to fail.
