I recently purchased a Supermicro H13SAE-MF with an AMD am5 4584 PX server, but I couldn't install any operating system. The system has two NVMe SSDs (960 Samsung) and 128 GB ECC UDIMMs DDR5-4800. Every time I boot from a USB stick, I reach the "starting Microsoft Windows BootMgr..." in Windows Server 2025, Debian, and ProxMox as well. Secure boot is disabled, CSM is off, UEFI is enabled.

The only time I've seen a system freeze on bootloader was when it turned out it wasn't UEFI compatible and had to be installed via Legacy. What did you use to prepare your USB drive?

I relied on Windows Media Creation Tool and Rufus for safety. Both should support UFEI. I also tested the same USB drive on other computers, and it functioned properly, indicating the issue isn’t with the drive itself. This is the point where it consistently fails.

In BIOS, AMD TPM is enabled along with another hardware TPM module. Disabling the AMD option resolves the issue and allows it to function properly.

I resolved the issue by using ventooy along with Rufus. Apparently, it didn’t work with the other two methods, so I informed Supermicro about it and they’re looking into it.

I attempted that, but sadly it didn't work either.
