I tested upgrading the RAM speed on my Ballistix sport LT 8x2 to 3600MHz, but the PC failed to boot. After clearing the CMOS, I used a DRAM calculator and copied the settings. The specs I have are: RTX 2080S, stock speeds Ryzen 5 [email protected], 16GB DDR4, 650W PSU, Corsair B450 Tomahawk, latest BIOS. I attached a screenshot of the calculator. Did anything seem off? Are you sure it’s safe to try again or should I stop now?

Yes, I verified all voltages were configured accurately. All timing parameters—primary, secondary, and tertiary—were confirmed correctly.

It seems like you're facing stability issues with your overclocked setup. Consider lowering the settings and testing again. A 3000MHz build running at 3600 is a significant jump—worth checking if it holds up.

You're right, the kit should operate at 3733MHz instead of 2933MHz.

Yes, that should be fine. You set the frequency to 3600 and the FCLK to 1800 as requested.

Beyond the advertised rates isn't assured. Start gradually increasing to 3600, configure the SOC to 1.1 and DRAM to 1.35, then test 3200 and adjust the FCLK to 1600.

That's completely unrelated, simply because a single unit can accomplish it doesn't guarantee overall reliability.

In Drm Calc, the bus driver setting can be found under timing configuration or strength settings. You may need to check both sections depending on your specific model and requirements.
