The color settings aren’t aligning properly with your keyboard layout. Many of the lower rows and F2/F3 keys don’t match the RGB values you configured. It’s strange that setting all keys to black makes them turn green. Did you reinstall or update the firmware?

Have you verified the illumination and colour settings through the button located at the top right corner of the scroll wheel? I accidentally changed my colour schemes and profile while adjusting the keys to reduce their responsiveness, hoping to prevent mistakes during gaming. My main key is E, with low attenuation, but sometimes my thick fingers triggered unintended forward movement on the W. I fixed that issue, though it caused other problems due to the colour profiles.

After following your instructions, it looks like the color and brightness settings are behaving strangely now. You can check this by using the scroll wheel and top-right button on the streamable interface: https://streamable.com/u1qot7. Some colors seem fine, but red-orange appears normal while others look odd. The controls change to green when you adjust the brightness, which is quite unusual.

It seems the LEDs have malfunctioned and are behaving erratically. I’ve experienced similar problems with my earlier Logitech Pro. You might want to switch to a single color and check if it works. After that, use the SteelSeries software through Windows to verify if you can set up the desired profile.

It seems like you're confirming your observation. I adjusted the setting to green using the keyboard controls, but couldn't modify it through the software. The same keys appear differently—green when set to black, and colored in other ways. That's quite unusual.

It seems the LED controller on the keyboard is faulty. Is it still covered under warranty? The Steel series has a solid track record, so a major problem should be addressed under warranty.

I haven’t had it long—probably 2 to 3 months. I bought it on Amazon and will reach out to their support for their feedback! The only choice left is this, thanks for the tips and assistance.
