I recall a time when my SSD (840 EVO 120GB) offered over 60 GB of available space. Recently, Windows reports only 21.6 GB free. I checked hidden files and system files, and it shows 61.6 GB in use (http://puu.sh/hjwMl/eaa630d715.png). No heavy programs were installed, with TEMP and libraries on the D: drive. I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this and how to recover the space.

Use WinDirStat to see which files are taking up space. If you spot unknown files consuming storage, consider removing them.

You need to analyze your disk space usage by viewing files and folders in WinDirStat, identify large files or unnecessary data, and then clean up or optimize them to free up space.

Examine the files occupying maximum storage; it’s likely your pagefile has grown.

I completed that task, and it made a difference. However, it mentions I used 46GB on the SSD overall, but I only have 36.8GB remaining...( http://puu.sh/hkDAN/6188d1d76c.png ) I should have used significantly more than that.
