You're facing a common issue when trying to replace an SSD that seems stubbornly fixed. It might help to double-check your tools and technique—ensure you have the right screwdriver size and that you're gently applying pressure without forcing it further. If it still won't move, consider checking for any hidden screws or obstructions inside the case.

It seems the component was misaligned and possibly bent. The standoff appears to be stuck between the screw and the motherboard. Take out the standoff.

You misplaced the installation. The small piece was just a gap. Gently use a screwdriver to remove it.

You pushed the ssd over the nut. its supposed to be held on the nut between the screw. Either undo the nut or carefully pry the drive up. There is a chance its broken now
