Hey, it's unclear if you should share this here or on PC gaming. When speaking, a few seconds after saying something, I can hear myself through my headphones, loud and distinct, but only once. I assumed it was just one player, but he wasn't there last night, yet it still happened. Warzone 2 AT2020 Beyerdynamic dr990 pro GoXlr This function worked perfectly in Warzone with the same gear. I lost my GoXlr settings because a whoosh sound appeared after any mic input, so I reset them to reduce that noise, but this repeat is clear and only occurs once. With routing enabled, it doesn't come through my headphones. What should I test myself to determine if the issue is mine, a gaming glitch (they've added thresholds in the game), or a cross-play problem? If I speak solo and can't be heard, does it disappear, or does recording with OBS help?
It could be that your audio is being picked up through another person's microphone. Even though you believed it was just one voice, it still occurred without them being present. It doesn't necessarily mean someone else is involved or that multiple people are using it. Test with just one other person—if they hear it, ask them to mute their mic or switch to PTT. You're likely not experiencing sidetone since you mentioned a slight delay, and this only happens in one game. Are you participating in the chat during this? If yes, check Discord to see if it resolves there, or vice versa.
