Whenever I increase the CPU speed, it becomes quicker but I experience a strong crackling sound during games. What could be causing this issue?

The noise coming from the speakers or the PC power supply might indicate a problem. If the power supply fails right before it blows, consider replacing it immediately. If interference occurs from the speakers, you may only be able to try a different sound card.

I discovered that the crackling or popping sound isn't present in Windows 10.
