DDU freezes while operating.
I tried DDU to delete my gtx 1060 3gb driver, but then it freezes again and I can't move the mouse cursor. I also ran it in safe mode (following Jayztwocents tutorial), but it took a couple of hours. Is it safe to power off the system and restart it?

DDU shouldn't freeze?
that is a new one.
I think restarting the PC would help.
Have you tried installing drivers from GeForce Experience with a clean install?
When you launch the app and download a driver, choose Custom install and on the next screen, there should be an option at the bottom to perform a clean install. This will remove all drivers and restore them for the card.
