The software version uses another language than the system's native language.
Hi, yesterday I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro from Apple. I performed a fresh setup starting from scratch in Hungarian. Everything seemed to work smoothly—texts displayed in Hungarian—but some notifications, such as software updates and display settings, appeared in Chinese (possibly another East Asian language). I’m struggling with the device and have tried restarting the laptop and switching the system language to English before reverting it back to Hungarian. I’m not familiar with Mac, so I’m unsure what to do next. Could someone assist me?
Are there several languages available in your preferred settings? You can list English and any other languages you use, with Hungarian listed first for priority. If Hungarian isn't an option, it should fall back to another available language. Here’s the Apple support guide on setting preferred languages: https://support.apple.com/en-by/guide/ma...h26684/mac
