Hi everyone, I own a basic PC with an 11400f and a 3050 (8gb). It works great until I tried to run Borderlands 3—it crashed right away. The gearbox logo appeared instantly. After turning off MSI Afterburner and RTSS, everything functioned normally. I reinstalled the drivers and updated MSI afterburner, but nothing changed. Now it’s also affected by other games. Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance!

For just tracking temperatures without adjusting settings, a straightforward app like OpenHardwareMonitor works well. It's simple and reliable. HWinfo64 offers detailed insights too, though it has more features.

Some titles freeze when overlays appear. This was frequent 15-20 years back, and MSI often experienced crashes or failure to launch games. As noted by @Mumintroll, alternative applications exist, and Nvidia provides its own overlay that typically functions smoothly.
