Hello,
I need to downclock my laptop using MSI Afterburner to prevent overheating. The issue is I can't adjust the memory clock and core clock sliders; when I try to change them and press apply, it resets to their default positions. Currently, the only way to tweak GPU performance is by adjusting the graphics settings via the power option, which either sets maximum battery life or maximum performance. This method causes the laptop to run too slow or too fast, leading to overheating.

For example:
Core Clock = 400
Memory Clock = 600
Maximum Battery Life:
Core Clock = 400 → 750
Memory Clock = 600 → 900

My GPU is an AMD Radeon R7 M260.
I want to set both core and memory clocks to 750, but I can't because the system reverts to the power option's settings.

Thanks beforehand and sorry for my English.

Adjust the graphics settings on your laptop using the AMD GPU options. You may not need the afterburner tool; check the control panel if it isn't visible in the right-click menu.
