I don’t run any software or hardware myself, but based on what I’ve found online, it seems a variety of devices and programs could be involved. Even simple audio cards might affect performance.

well, not much... steam, gskill lighting software (seems very lightweight) iCue (needed for my psu fan profile, doesn't use many resources either tho) windows defender, youtube, as i usually watch YouTube before going to bed (hence i use sleep mode so pc doesn't run all night) thing is none of this was an issue in the past, these issues only started to crop up after i set sleep mode from 2 and 4 hours to 1 and 2 hours... i wish i hadn't, but yeah... (also weird coincidence with the controller, i guess that used to be always set to sleep by steam) ps: no other hardware than kbm, and the Xbox/ razer controller, wifi (built into the mobo)

Consider testing one program at a time to identify the problem. The iCUE or TridentZ seems like a good starting point. It’s possible the new issues stem from these programs, so isolating them could help pinpoint the solution.
