i attached the toggled run to a key i rarely press since caps often pop up by mistake. i changed it to the numpad, but whenever i enter a new room, save the game, or engage in a fight with slow motion, it seems to disable auto-run (though it stays on). i reset keys back to defaults and restarted the game, yet the issue persists. anyone have any ideas?

You enable autorun continuously, so it stays active until you manually stop it by pressing a key. Then you switch the autorun to another key, and when you do something, it shuts down automatically.

That's correct. Resetting to the default settings didn't make any changes.

I recall it shutting down when I engaged with things, so I’ll install Skyrim quickly to observe its behavior.

I maintain a backup of Skyrim on my HDD with several preinstalled mods, which eliminates the need for repetitive tasks whenever files get corrupted from overmodding or Steam restores most of them. Downloading everything now takes around 15 minutes.

After fixing the SKSE and ENB issues caused by excessive copies or moves, Skyrim started working properly. During autorun tests, it remained active whether I looted items or faced a load, but it shut down when I spoke to someone.
