The rich text editor has a recognized issue that causes incompatibility with many versions of Internet Explorer. This is due to IE's numerous exceptions outside the HTML5 standard. A fix will be added in the upcoming forum software update, scheduled for release later this year and a rollout planned for next year. However, significant development remains before it can be implemented, possibly taking a few months. If you notice further problems, please report them in the Bugs and Issues thread within the "Forum News and Info" subforum.
