He mentioned problems with his PC not booting after installing the new RAM and noted the motherboard only supports XMP 2 at 3200MHz. This seems unrelated to his 2700 CPU, which runs smoothly with 3200MHz RAM. It’s possible he needs a newer processor for full performance with that speed.

second gen Ryzen does not play nicely with higher memory speeds, not like third gen Ryzen does. Outside of XMP, he could do manual tuning to try to get higher speeds, but it's no guarantee.

He mentioned he can't start the system at XMP2 3200, but using the older 'actual' 3200 RAM works.
