Hello everyone. Yesterday while gaming and streaming, I noticed lag spikes. Upon checking, my RAM was nearly full. I’m considering purchasing extra RAM. I currently have two 8GB 3200MHz sticks installed, and now I’m thinking about buying two more 8GB 3600MHz sticks. I’m unsure if they’ll work together. Both the "3600" and "3200" are G.SKILL TRIDEND Z models. Could someone advise me? Thank you in advance.

They could operate, but their speed would be limited to 3200MHz. I think I’d go for the 3200MHz unit because it’s roughly $20–30 less than other options.

According to RONOTHAN, the RAM performance will be limited by the slowest component. I’d purchase a 2x8 3600 kit, sell my 2x8 3200 to someone with very low RAM (around 2666), buy another 2x8 3600 kit to reach optimal capacity.
