I've noticed this problem today where one of your monitors intermittently freezes. It appears only a small portion—about 3%—functions properly, while the rest freezes briefly for five seconds before briefly resuming and then freezing again. The issue seems to occur with your MSI G241, which you've owned for two years without any damage or issues with the cables. I haven't seen any obvious cause, and your RX 6600 XT works perfectly on the other side. I've attached photos of the affected monitor. Any suggestions?

I noticed a similar issue where the lower part of the screen froze. I wasn't sure if it would help, but my friend restored Windows using a USB drive and it resolved the problem.

Use DU to remove the driver and attempt a reinstall. I’m unsure if your monitor has any firmware updates. Mine does, and it had a problem displaying the left half of the screen centered in the middle after a Windows update at 1440p 240hz HDR. All other frequencies worked fine until I updated the monitor’s firmware—specifically on a Samsung 32-inch Odyssey model.

It might have been this way from the start after I updated Windows.

I'll attempt that if all else fails.

Press Shift while clicking reboot to enter troubleshooting mode. In Advanced settings, you can remove the latest Windows update. I've noticed some updates causing issues—trying to uninstall them first usually helps, and reapplying them afterward resolves the problem.
