my second graphics card isn't appearing in the device manager and I can't install it myself. my system has three PCIe lanes, so the cards should fit. i've swapped them both to see which one works. only the 6900xt is showing up now. i've confirmed the power cables are secure and that the a380 spins its fan when powered on, indicating it gets electricity. i turned off the built-in wifi since pcie 3 isn't a dedicated GPU slot, but i still tried. the resize bar is also enabled. in my previous setup the card worked, so it's likely not a hardware issue.

I resolved the issue with SATA 5-8 and both M.2 slots 3 and 4 shared the same PCIe lanes as slot 4. My BIOS was set to auto, so each boot with the A380 didn’t disable any lanes, fixing the problem instantly. I’m still unsure why it failed in the first PCIe slot, but the fact it worked is satisfactory.
