The space where the CPU fan should be installed is simply too large for the screws provided with the CPU fan.

It could be an Alienware model with a unique socket configuration. Since Alienware offers various PC options, it's tough to determine exactly what you're looking at. It might also be another cooler requiring a backplate, or Dell/AW possibly using a different connector type for heat sinks. I’d skip that cooler (it looks quite dirty) and opt for the original one.
