I recently added an RTX 3070 Ti and everything seems to be functioning well. However, occasionally the main monitor in my dual setup might freeze for a brief moment—about once every hour or so. It lasts only a second or two, and all connections appear secure with drivers up to date. My main concern is whether the GPU itself might be faulty. I struggled during installation but removed it to check; it looked completely normal. I even tried installing it in a different PCIe slot, suspecting the original slot was damaged, but the issue persists. After swapping the DP cables and using a stand to address sagging, the problem still occurs. Additionally, during a League of Legends session last night, a faint black line appeared in the upper left corner of my screen. It was almost invisible but definitely visible. After rebooting, it disappeared, though I’m not sure if that relates to the issue. GPU temperatures are normal, and my PC operates quietly even during gameplay. One last thought: the display settings suggest a recommended resolution of 3840 x 2160, but I prefer 2560 x 1440. It might help to keep the resolution consistent. Any other possibilities you’d consider?
