Yesterday i started a game and it froze, crashed, then suddenly colorful squares appeared. My computer kept freezing in Windows for a long time. I tried to recover and reinstall, but my files stayed, yet the issue persisted. I can't stay logged in long enough to figure out if it's a startup app causing the problem. I saw another forum where someone had a similar problem but could use his computer normally for a short time before it happened, while mine crashes right after Windows boots. The BIOS doesn't seem to have this problem. I don’t have a photo of my computer, but the one from that forum looks the same. When it first crashed, I got a code message, but it no longer appears. If I can avoid a full reinstall without losing files, that would be perfect, but I rarely get that chance.
Check if you have a different GPU or PC available for testing.
