Hello, I recently assembled a PC that functions well overall, but occasionally during gameplay the screen becomes black and audio disappears. The keyboard also shuts down. However, when checking the system, the RAM and fans indicators remain active (fans don’t spin up), and the display only appears after pressing the power button repeatedly before restarting, as if nothing happened. During the black screen, no error lights appear on the motherboard.

Details:
Motherboard: Gygabyte B450M DS3H
CPU: Ryzen 5600X
GPU: XFX RX 7600 XT 16GB
RAM: 2 x 8GB (3200 MHz via XMP)
Power Supply: MSI MAG A650BN 650W

Temperatures stay within normal ranges (CPU ≤60°C, GPU ≤70°C), sometimes dropping to 40°C and 50°C. Event Viewer only records an error message indicating the PC was forced off. Both old and new games, regardless of settings, show inconsistent performance—sometimes capped, sometimes uncapped FPS. It’s quite erratic.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes I even suspect the monitor might be the issue since everything else seems fine. Please let me know if you need further information. Thank you.

Yeah, everything is plugged just fine, and about the updates, is the adrenaline software the way to go to install the amd drivers? Because that's what I used for it. And also for the bios I believe I have the latest update, but I'll check both and see if something works, thank you very much, have a nice holidays

The latest BIOS version is F67d. Is this the one currently running? Adrenaline may not be able to install the newest update. Consider trying an update inside the BIOS. You might also try resetting the BIOS using the CLR CMOS or JBAT jumper.
