I just completed a new system about a month ago, with specifications in the range. The 4080 super isn't fully installed yet and is still in progress. Right now, I'm using onboard graphics. Every so often, the screen will briefly go black for a second or two while I'm using it. I don't do anything heavy during those moments. Once it's back up, everything looks normal again and I can resume what I was doing. Temperatures are fine. This didn't occur in my previous build, so I suspect the issue isn't with the monitor. It might be worth waiting until the 4080 super is installed to see if it persists, which would help identify what to check next. If it continues, I'd assume the GPU isn't the problem.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit Evo
MBO: Gigabyte x670 Gaming X AX V2
RAM: 32gb DDR5-6000 G Skill Ripjaws S5
GPU: Nvidia 4080 Super FE, currently relying on onboard graphics until I upgrade to the 4080 super
SSD: Samsung M.2 NVME 980 Pro 1tb
Crucial P3 Plus 2tb NVME Storage
PSU: Corsair rm1000x Shift
Uncertain if this is connected to the screen going black; I attempted to play Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, which was extremely laggy and unplayable. Now I suspect the issue stems from using onboard graphics, which aren’t sufficient for this game even at low settings.
