The BIOS interface is extremely sluggish and the startup process can last over a minute. Once it finally starts, Windows operates without problems, but the Device Manager keeps refreshing. USB alerts remain steady, even though all connected devices appear normal. There are no RGB glitches, no lagging cursor, dropped keys, or audio interruptions. Other users have reported similar issues linked to Ryzen CPU behavior with USB, though no fix has been found. AMD released a patch years ago, but the problem persists. Some forums suggest this is due to a defect in how Ryzen CPUs communicate via USB. Despite trying various solutions—removing USB devices, using hubs, updating drivers, disabling power modes, and reinstalling Windows—I haven’t resolved it. Steps I’ve tried are listed below: removed all USB except keyboard & mouse, moved them to separate ports, placed USB devices on self-powered hubs, disabled power-saving settings, ran SFC and malware scans, booted in Safe Mode, turned off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NVidia audio, SSDP service, Xbox services, updated BIOS, changed CMOS after update, used different power supplies, tested with another PSU, and verified specs for Ryzen 3600, G.Skill, ASRock, Samsung, and GeForce models.
