I’ve only had my pc for about two weeks now. I’ve been using Ryzen Master to monitor temperatures and performance. Yesterday I attempted to overclock it, aiming for a stock speed of 3.60 GHz and setting it to 4.00 GHz. I also increased the voltage slightly. I followed a YouTube tutorial. After applying the changes and stress testing, my pc crashed, so I decided to reset it. Once I restarted, Task Manager showed the default speed at 4.00 GHz and CPU usage at 100% with only one application open. When I opened Ryzen Master, I tried to revert it to default but it didn’t work—it would reset all cores back to 3600 but still displayed 4000 on the speed. I restarted BIOS to default and uninstalled Ryzen Master, but it didn’t fix anything. I re-downloaded Ryzen Master, which temporarily restored the clock speed to 3.60 GHz, but only while I was using it. When I turned it off and came back, it returned to 4.00 GHz until I manually reset it again, after which it went back up. It seems like my clock speed has been permanently altered, though I’m not sure what caused this. I’m new to this and don’t know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This issue is causing my pc to crash during gameplay. My specs are: GTX 1060, 6 GB superclocked, Ryzen 5 2600X, 3.60 GHz, 16 GB RAM, Msi x470 gaming plus with a max motherboard. Please suggest solutions.

It's possible that the ROM can alter BIOS settings, making them permanent until you reset the CMOS or BIOS. After uninstalling the ROM, reinstall it without modifying anything, and it will function as a reference. This is just informational guidance.
